Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural Exchange Programme

The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province and the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region jointly organise the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural Exchange Programme annually during the summer holiday to foster mutual understanding of young people and facilitate them to learn more about the culture of Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland through cultural exchanges, visits and seminars. Since 2009, over a thousand young people have participated in the Programme.

HYAB’s Youth Link members who are full-time students of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and aged between 18 and 35 are welcome to join the Programme. In particular, priority would be given to students who are studying subjects related to arts or culture. Participation fee is subsidised by the organisers.

The Youth Link is specifically designed for young people aged between 12 and 39. Participants of various youth development programmes / activities organised or funded by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are welcome to register as members.
