Service Corps recruits Hong Kong young people aged between 18 and 29 to provide six-month to one-year voluntary teaching services in underprivileged areas in the Mainland. The programme aims to promote youth development and volunteerism. It also seeks to develop the tenacity and potential of Hong Kong young people, and to encourage them to serve others. Youth participants will be provided basic living allowance for their stay in the Mainland. Participants can serve in Shaoguan or Meizhou in Guangdong Province to provide teaching assistance in subjects including English, Physical Education, Music, Arts and Computing for primary and junior secondary students.
